Doug has brought an element of professionalism to the mortgage industry as never seen before. His extensive background as a Certified Public Accountant (C.P.A.) and over 20 years of public accounting experience gives him a level of knowledge unattainable by the competition. Because of his vast knowledge in tax, finance and accounting, he truly understands how to consult with his clients and his clients’ advisors to structure a loan program that helps his clients achieve their overall financial goals.
Doug places a heavy emphasis on designing a personal financial plan for each individual client’s needs, be that the most sophisticated borrowers or the special needs of his first-time homebuyer clients. His knowledge of financing strategies, combined with his desire to tailor the best mortgage program available for unique needs, helps to make the loan process easy and smooth.
Doug grew up in the San Fernando Valley, graduated California State University Northridge with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting & Finance in 1989, and subsequently achieved his Certified Public Accountant License and Mortgage Loan Officer License in 1993. He loves to spend time with his wife Lisa and their two girls. You can often find him hiking in the mountains around Southern California or traveling to unique destinations across the seas for fun.
